About me and this business

Welcome! I’m Lanaya Laurent, A Caribbean-American, 21-year-old creative with an entrepreneurial soul. I’m currently studying Real Estate and Marketing at my University. I started this business to get hands-on experience and share my designs with you all. 

One of my biggest passions is bringing my ideas to life. I grew up in a small town where there wasn’t always much to do, so I started creating early on. I even dabbled in running a small business when I was 16, though there were a lot of limitations because of my age at the time. Over the years, I’ve developed passions for photography, music, jewelry design, clothing design, and so many other creative outlets I’ve lost count.

Outside of designing, I’m a huge D&D fan. I love renaissance festivals and anime, but I’m also obsessed with reality TV and high fashion. When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me gaming with my friends or brainstorming new ideas to try out. I’m always open to learning and experimenting with something new.

Professionally, I have a strong background in management. I’ve worked in leadership roles since I was 16, and I truly enjoy building real connections with people. The goal of this business is to combine art, fashion, and sustainability.

At the heart of this brand is a simple mission: to grow a recognizable local brand that highlights sustainable practices and creativity while staying affordable and accessible for everyone. I want this brand to represent self-expression, community, and conscious creativity. As it grows, I plan to expand this mission by donating to organizations that I’m passionate about.
